Our backyard
Though there are endless adventures to be had in the Northeast Kingdom, many of our guests find they need not venture beyond our sprawling backyard! Our outdoor spaces were designed for both comfort and community; soak in the sun (or shade) on the enormous patio, wander through the gardens and greenhouse, spend an afternoon in the swimming hole or fire up a feast on the ole barbecue. These are the ways precious vacation days are meant to be spent, after all!
Please keep in mind, access to some of our amenities may be seasonal (the vineyard rarely fruits in January but the hot tub is known to stay warm year round). Feel free to contact the Front Desk for more information about what is currently available.
Adventures can be dirty, but your clothes don't have to be. A complementary washer and dryer is available for use throughout your stay.
Though we kindly ask that you check-out by 11:00 am, we are happy to offer access to our bath and shower facility until 5:00 pm on your day of departure. Squeeze in every last second out of your time on the trails knowing you can rinse off before you have to hit the road!
Our guests enjoy access to our fully-equipped kitchen during their stay. Swing through for fresh coffee in the morning (first pot is hot at 6 am!), make a PB+J on the go, or marinate meats for a backyard barbecue - we have you covered!
Let your bike spend the night with friends! We can fit 20 bikes in our onsite bike room, which also features a bike repair stand, bike wash station, and lockers for your gear. Cable locks are not provided - we highly encourage the use of personal locks to ensure security.

Beat the heat this summer with a dip in Dish Mill Brook! Forming the southern edge of our property, this babbling brook flows from the base of Burke Mountain and offers guests a refreshing opportunity to cool off after time on the trails. If you want to soak like a true professional, plan to post up in the shallows with a book or a beer - there's no better way to end the day!
If a dip in Dish Mill Brook sounds too cool for comfort, then a soak in our hot tub might be more palatable! Our Jacuzzi tub is the perfect place to rest and relax after a day on the move. Available until 10 pm daily.

Nostalgic for summer nights spent by the campfire? Our fire pit, nestled alongside Dish Mill Brook, is the ideal spot for s'mores and story-telling. The best part? We do the hard work for you - seasoned wood, kindling, and fire starter available on-site so you can simply focus on the fun stuff.
Our backyard features a number of shared spaces, deliberately designed to be enjoyed alongside friends and family (old and new)! Enjoy our long-table dining area, outdoor bar space, sprawling patios, and cozy fire pits. It's like being back at summer camp (minus the obligatory sing alongs) - grab your friends, a favorite beer, and enjoy the camaraderie of an evening spent around the camp fire.
While these common areas are designed to be enjoyed by all of our guests, we are often able to accommodate private events by request. Please contact the Front Desk for more information or to request space.
