It's officially that unfortunate time of year in northern New England known as 'mud season.' IYKYK.
While we have retired our skis for the season, we aren't quite ready to start putting air in our bike tires yet. With the official opening of Kingdom Trails still a few weeks away, here at The Village Inn, we have been taking advantage of this spring slow down to give the Inn a little T.L.C. with our Mud Season Makeover.
If you made the trip to Vermont this winter, you may have noticed that we recently renovated Room 1 and Room 5. With the help of some dear friends and colleagues, new carpets were installed, new furniture was purchased, and bathrooms were renovated last fall. We are absolutely in love with the results!
Room 5 has always been a favorite of ours, but the end result of the new updates his absolutely dreamy!
This spring we are keeping the momentum going and giving a lil' love + attention to Room 6 and Room 7 with a complete bathroom makeover. Mariah, Cam and Josh have been hard at work and putting their demolition skills to the test.
Though we are looking forward to introducing our own look, style and brand to this beloved property - don't
worry - we are keeping all the history and charm (like the clawfoot tub!) that make this little Vermont Inn so special.
